Online Order Terms and Conditions
This web site is owned and operated by TasFoods Ltd and will be referred to as “We”, “our” and “us” in this Online Order Terms and Conditions. By using this site, you agree to the Online Order Terms and Conditions of this web site (“the web site”), which is set out on this web site page.
Orders may be placed by selecting products from our online store and making a payment through our checkout and payment process.
By submitting an order and making payment, you make an offer to us to purchase the products you have selected and agree the Online Order Terms and Conditions of this web site.
Payments may be made using Visa, MasterCard and Paypal. Card payments are processed upon receipt of your orders. A tax invoice is provided as your proof of purchase.
For your protection, all credit card transactions are conducted on a SSL secured site.
You must not pay or attempt to pay for orders through any fraudulent or unlawful means.
Please note: all prices in the online store are in Australia Dollars (AUD).
Order may be cancelled prior to the order being shipped. No fees or charges will be applied to such cancellations. However once an order is shipped cancellations will not be accepted due to the perishable nature of our goods. We may cancel any part of an order, even orders we have accepted, without liability, if the ordered products are unavailable, there is an error in the price or product description on the site or if the order has been placed in breach of these terms and conditions. We will provide reasonable notice if such a cancellation is required.
Your order will be delivered by a third-party courier. We use an overnight courier to deliver our products however we do not guarantee that orders will be delivered in that timeframe. Delivery to some regional parts of Australia can take longer and we will pack additional ice in these instances to ensure the order will travel better.
We will do our best to deliver on the date requested but we cannot guarantee delivery at a certain time.
It is best if someone is available to received and sign for the delivery but our couriers will leave a parcel with out a signature if no one is available.
Please ensure that delivery address and contact information is correct as we will not be responsible for non-delivery due to incorrect address.
All prices on this website are in Australian dollars inclusive of GST. Freight is charge separately and is calculated and displayed during checkout.
Title and Risk
Liability for product defects and delivery issues remain with us until the product has been delivered. However once the product has been delivered title and risk falls to the recipient, this includes where delivery is made without a signature or someone to receive delivery.
We take great pride in the quality of our products and we aim to ensure that it reaches you in the best condition possible. Please check your order as soon as possible after receiving it and inspect it for quality. If you have any concerns regarding the quality of the products or there is damage to the package please contact us as soon as possible call us 03 6331 6983 or email us at email@example.com. If you can send us images that will help us process your claim and investigate the cause of the issue. Where product quality is compromised or damaged in transit we can send a replacement order or provide a refund.
No Claim for product quality deterioration or damage can be processed unless we are notified as soon as possible. Claims will also not be accepted for issues regarding product quality in the following circumstances:
- Delayed deliveries due to weather problems;
- Incorrect delivery addresses;
- Deliveries to recipients who are not home or are unable to receive parcels; or
- Unopened parcels.
Supply of Hampers Containing Alcohol
Under Australian Law we are only able to sell gift hampers containing alcohol to persons over the age of 18. In placing the order with us for a gift hamper that contains alcohol, you warrant to us that:
- you are over the age of 18 years;
- any person that you are obtaining the Goods for, or supply the Goods to, is over the age of 18 years
- you will not take or supply any part of your order to any liquor-restricted area or community
- the hamper can only be delivered to another adult who is not the purchaser
- the hamper cannot be delivered to a person at the location where the gift was purchased
- gifts must be delivered between the hours of 7am to 7pm
Anyone at the Delivery Address (or upon collection) who receives the Goods shall be presumed by TasFoods to be authorised to receive the Goods. If the Order includes alcohol or other products where there is a minimum age required to purchase, you must ensure that a person over the age of 18 years is available to accept these Goods.
Amendments to Terms and Conditions
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. For this reason, we encourage you to review these Terms and Conditions whenever you purchase products from us or use our Web Site.
